Journal of Research in Science Teaching

Edited by: Matt Kloser, Edna Tan, Dana Vedder-Weiss

The official journal of NARST, a global organization for improving science education through research, Journal of Research in Science Teaching publishes research studies for science education researchers and practitioners on issues of science teaching and learning and science education policy.

We publish investigations employing qualitative, ethnographic, historical, survey, philosophical, case study research, quantitative, experimental, quasi-experimental, data mining, and data analytics approaches; position papers; policy perspectives; critical reviews of the literature; and comments and criticism. JRST generally does not publish program evaluations or the validation of measurement tools unless the manuscript has explicit, novel contributions to the field.
